My Students

During my master's degree at Queen's, I had the prerogative to supervise senior undergraduate students during their summer research internships.

Meriem Mekki

She investigated the different wavelet-based techniques and proposed a new approach to overcome the limitations of the existing techniques. Her thesis can be found here (will be added soon).

Nesrine Cherif

She worked on cooperative spectrum sensing in heterogeneous cognitive radio networks, where the cooperating secondary users have different sensing capabilities. Her thesis can be found here (will be added soon).

Saulo De Sousa

He worked on the economic aspects of spectrum management in cognitive radio networks.

Takwa Attia

She proposed a new softened-hard combining technique for cooperative spectrum sensing, which is a compromise between the soft and hard based decisions. Her thesis can be found here (will be added soon).
