Ghaith Hattab is pursuing a
PhD degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He received his
M.Sc degree from Queen's University, Kingston ON, Canada, and his B.Sc degree
from American University of Sharjah (AUS), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE),
all in Electrical Engineering. He has held research internships at Nokia Bell
Labs, IL, USA, and Qualcomm Research, CA, USA.
His research interests include system-level
analysis, optimization, and signal processing for wireless communications, with
emphasis on spectrum sharing and coexistence of wireless systems. He was the
recipient of the prestigious Presidential Cup awarded by His Highness Sheikh
Dr. Sultan Al Qassimi, the IEEE Kingston Section M.Sc Research Excellence Award,
and the departmental fellowships at Queen's and UCLA.
